Quite a well written blog, entertaining and a worthwhile read. Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of fiction mixed in. Most of what is said about DERP is its own business, but I've been with Indy for a while now and know quite well how we operate. I am, in fact, one of the founders of Indy's current WH operations and can speak on the subject. I can go on about how we, frankly, are harder combatants than any original member of DERP. However... the critical issue here is all the facts and feuds that were either obscured or omitted.
The DERP POS, cried for over 24 hours about lack of fuel. The two most competent POS managers were on hiatus and the POS suffered for lack of organization and evidently went offline. At some point, ships were launched via array and items were removed from the hangars. This could only happen prior to the fuel running out, so the facts indicate either premeditated theft or complete idiocy. Accusations and tantrums were the only notice of DERP jumping alliance and we were dec'd shortly thereafter. Currently, Indy is investigating the incident and making progress, in spite of war, towards identifying what actually occurred during those nefarious hours.

Originally by: DeathMan Have to say be thankful that it was just some ship losses and the POS being offline for how ever long it was, it could of been much worse. The un-anchoring of the structures, or even worse a total corp clean out. I've seen it happen in the past to people, and im sure I'll see it in the future.
This is kind of what makes me suspicious we're not being told the whole story. He's claiming that all the ships were gone, yet the POS modules were apparently untouched? If I had starbase equipment config role and was planning a corp theft, I'd grab a lot more than just the ships.
This is a very good observation, and one of the reasons we aren't lynching our own people for the sake of unproven conspiracy. It is a fact, however, that Dawntreader knows nothing about CEO operations, including roles, access, permissions, procedures, risks, etc, etc. One correlation here, is that the guilty party knew as much as Dawntreader about POS operations. The chiefly accused, Carden and Jenny, are POS experts, and wouldn't have been so erroneous.
Indeed, most of the members that have been accused, were absent from the WH and without a route during the heist. A hauler, affiliated with those nasty treacherous Indy, was still logged off in the wormhole and could have hauled off a majority of the POS in one trip. Yet, as the KM shows, the cargohold only contained the leftover ammo and supplies from the POS take-down that Indy provided for DERP. Titanium Sabot is just a way of showing how much you appreciate the support, right?
For a corp that can't tie its own shoelaces, DERP sure does make a big fuss and throw accusations at people responsible for every bit of success to DERP's name. The fact that roles and access were dished out so haphazardly and then an amature heist spells out incompetence on all levels -- Sounds like DERP to me.
